Starting today, students in the Cleveland Municipal School district will be given back 50 minutes to their school day. The full day schedule is being restored to students in all K-8 schools due to the passage of the Nov. 6 levy.
The district is now working on other immediate goals, such as increasing exposure to art, music and physical education in as many schools as possible and add reading, math, and science intervention where determined.
We will keep you posted on the stories coming out of Cleveland in the coming months as they reintroduce the important classes that give our students the well-rounded education and the interventions they need. Welcome to your new day Cleveland students!
